Did you know-Rancho Mission Viejo is back

A plan to build 14,000 homes on 23,000 acres east of Ladera Ranch is BACK!  The development was approved back in 2004 and it was shelved because of the market.  Well it is BACK!  The new community will consist of 6,000 homes for seniors- in concept similar to the Ladera Ranch plan, including round-abouts, pocket parks and many trees according to Dan Kelly- Senior Vice President of Governmental Relations for Rancho Mission Viejo.

Construction has not begun- they need to address some traffic improvements on Antonio Parkway and Ortega Highway before they can begin.  That is a lot of homes- a lot more traffic- hold on for future notices.
